Thesis Focus
This thesis investigates changing people's lifelong money beliefs through early financial education. Teaching children about money is especially important because it shapes the financial decisions they make throughout their lives, particularly from low- and middle-income families, lacking this early education. Without foundational knowledge, they might struggle to manage money as adults, potentially perpetuating cycles of economic instability and diminished well-being.
Financial understanding develops incrementally. Hence, early education is crucial for laying a strong foundation. However, knowledge must be coupled with practice for behavioral change.
