</aside>
Our current food system, built on American values of work, freedom, and progress, has created a culture of consumerism that promotes waste. This thesis investigates the shifts consumers can make individually and together in their everyday food habits to bring about change in our food system for a less wasteful future.
This thesis work culminated in the research, development, and design of five products:
Emma Brigaud is a Franco-American strategic product and experience designer. After earning degrees in Marketing and French from William & Mary, she went on to build a content department at The Snow Agency. Between 2020 and 2021, Emma designed two public art installations in Dohm Alley in downtown Princeton. The hands-on experience inspired her to return to a studio environment and she is now in her last semester of an MFA in product design at the School of Visual Arts. She specializes in product innovation, visual storytelling, and experience design across physical and digital touchpoints.
