Thesis Focus
My thesis focuses on addressing pet separation anxiety, targeting busy urban pet owners aged 20-40 and their pets. By studying the causes of pet separation anxiety and identifying gaps in existing solutions, I aim to design an innovative product to improve pets' mental health and enhance human- pet interaction. Separation anxiety affects pets' psychological and behavioral health while also causing stress and emotional burdens for their owners. This project will integrate user research, behavioral science, and interaction design to develop and test a simple, practical, safe, and effective solution, ultimately helping to alleviate pet anxiety and improve the quality of life for both pets and their owners.
About Me

Nymph Yang is an interaction and product designer with industrial design background. I am a problem solver who finds fulfillment in engaging with others, and design serves as my medium for communication with the world. It's not merely a skill; it's the art of simplifying the complex, transforming inconvenience into ease, and infusing frustration with joy. This, to me, is also the essence of what design means to people.
